I Portray the powerful and magical essence of the horse ~ Susan
Susan has loved horses as well as creating art since her earliest childhood memories. Along with art and horses she also embraced technology early on, uniting both hemispheres of her brain. Horses allow us to tap into our internal resources, allowing us to find the muse that lives inside each of us and to create from an authentic place.

windHorse; the horse reflects back to us our true nature. The windhorse or lung-ta, allegorically represents the strength of the human soul.
There are two components of the wind horse – the first is the wind, or chi, which is the life force energy or vitality and secondly the horse which symbolizes strength, journey and the ability to overcome obstacles.
Horses also bring with them an ancient truth and deep spiritual awareness. It is through the inner wisdom of the horse that we can come to know ourselves and therefore know each other. As humans our existence is often narcotized by our own constant internal commentary.
The windHorses invite and guide the viewer on a journey of expanded dimensions of consciousness and discovery where they may connect with the infinite silence that is the Self. When connected with the Self, there is freedom from the confines of time and location allowing a connection with all that there is; to simply “Be”. To create, the artist has to be in union with the true self. Then her/his artwork will transmit the timeless essence of the universe and communicate from the deepest level of our being while simultaneously connecting to all other beings. It is my desire that you also experience the work in this manner.
